FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: ---------------------- JEEP CLUB TO CLEAN UP SAGUARO LAKE AREA PHOENIX, Ariz. - October 23, 2002 /PRnetwire.com/ - The Arizona Virtual Jeep Club (www.azvjc.org) has announced that its members will participate in a trash cleanup of the Coves of Saguaro Lake on Saturday, November 9, 2002. Saguaro Lake, located 40 miles northeast of Phoenix, is a popular recreational area for all kinds of activities, including 4-wheel driving. The Coves area accumulates trash and debris from frequent visitors and this cleanup demonstrates the AzVJC members' commitment to the environment and responsible off-highway vehicle use. The members plan to meet behind the gate at Butcher Jones area at 8:00 a.m. There will be a barbeque, raffle tickets and drawing for door prizes. The Arizona Game & Fish Department and the U.S. Forest Service are expected to attend. The news media are also invited.
