A coalition of 10 women organizations from throughout California have been unifying over the past several months to create a strong united voice to share with state legislators on the important health issues that affect the communities in our state. Discussions will include successful lobbying of state legislators and review of SB 921 and other related health bills, featuring a keynote address by Rose Ann DeMoro, Executive Director of the California Nurses Association. The afternoon panel entitled "A Real World Perspective" will share insights on young women's view of access to healthcare, take a close look at California's 2003 - 2004 health budget, and discuss current reproductive health care issues.
