Five Tampa Plaintiffs File Lawsuit Against Honeywell International, Inc. For Hazardous Contamination of Water Supply ­ May Impact Many More Tampa Residents 

Tampa, Florida - October 19, 2004 /Send2Press Newswire/ -- If Attorney Samuel Bearman gets his way, Honeywell International, Inc. will be held accountable for contaminating various Tampa water sources with hazardous wastes and volatile organic compounds.

In a lawsuit filed in Hillsborough County Circuit Court on October 11, 2004, Plaintiff’s attorney, Samuel Bearman (www.bearmanlaw.com), alleges that Honeywell, and/or various defendants, had certain knowledge that they had contaminated various water supplies with volatile organic compounds, methylene chloride and other hazardous wastes and pollutants. He further alleges that they had concealed such knowledge to the detriment of the plaintiffs.

In the suit, five plaintiffs are named; however, this case may potentially involve many more plaintiffs in the Tampa area. "This case certainly affects many Tampa residents," Bearman adds, "It may be a class action suit."


In a ten-count lawsuit, Bearman is alleging, among other things, that Honewell should be held liable for the following:


	1.	Fraud by Concealment

	2.	Strict Liability

	3.	Negligence

	4.	Trespass

	5.	Private Nuisance
