Corporate Computer Stolen From Office - 2 Laptop Computers Stolen

Protected by and Recovered by The CyberAngel

ALBUQUERQUE, NM - December 1, 2004 /Send2Press Newswire/ -- CyberAngel Security Solutions, Inc. On November 13th of this year, a businesswoman in Albuquerque, while visiting family, had her car stolen, right out of the driveway. In her car were two business laptops that contained sensitive data that represented medical and financial information for hundreds of clients. 

The next day, November 14th one of those stolen computers was used and sent a covert alert to The CyberAngel Security Monitoring Center, providing the location details from where that computer was being used. CSS, Inc. alerted local law enforcement authorities and provided them with the location information to be able to secure a search warrant for the premises. That very day, the laptop computer was recovered and back in the owners hands. All of the client information on that computer was secure and intact upon recovery. 

This is the second time that this individual has had a computer stolen and recovered by The CyberAngel, and has since recovered her car and the other computer stolen as well.
