METAMATRIX JOINS CONTENT ALLIANCE TO CREATE PROTOCOL FOR CONTENT NETWORKING AND DELIVERY
Working With Industry Leaders to Gain Acceptance for Rich Media Content Networking and Delivery
New York, NY -- April 11, 2001 -- Enterprise Information Integration pioneer, MetaMatrix, Inc., a privately-held infrastructure technology company, today announced that it has joined the Content Alliance, an industry group initiated by Cisco Systems, Inc., to help accelerate and lead the development of content delivery services. The Content Alliance, which currently includes more than 100 companies, is an open industry body comprised of technology vendors, service providers, and content providers that support the development of open standards for the advancement of content networking.
