LAS VEGAS AND TV STAR BRIAN EVANS MOVING TO KEY WEST
Sugarloaf Key, FL -- (PRnetwire) -- August 17, 2001 -- Las Vegas star Brian Evans (www.thecrooner.com), the former actor on shows such as "Full House" turned headliner in Las Vegas, is moving to Sugarloaf Key, Florida in the Keys.
The entertainer, 29, has decided that he will take a year off after more than 600 performances in Vegas. Evans gained superstar status in Asia with 9 album releases, resulting in the newly released "The Best of Brian Evans" in China this week, a double CD featuring previously released tracks.
Formerly the opening act for such stars as Dionne Warwick to Rick Astley, he made history in Las Vegas as the only entertainer in the history of the now closed venue "The Desert Inn" to release and record a CD "Live at The Desert Inn," which Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman then declared "Brian Evans Day," in honor of the historic achievement.
Brian's second book "What Was I Thinking" will be out this year.
"Basically, Brian wants to go fishing and smell the roses a little. He's had astronomical success in Asia which has given his certain abilities he didn't have 5 years ago," says attorney Ira Levin.
Evans intends on performing while in Florida, and several TV appearances are in the works. Evans was last featured on the Fox News Channel's "Fox & Friends."
