e-tractions Given Award For 'Best Concept' at The 2004 MITX Ceremony For True Majority 'Oreo Campaign'

BOSTON, MA - November 23, 2004 /Send2Press Newswire/ -- e-tractions was picked as a winner in both the "Best Concept" and "Non-Profit" categories at the 2004 MITX Awards. The annual MITX Awards is the largest Internet marketing awards competition in the country recognizing achievements in the development and implementation of interactive marketing technologies. Winners were announced in 28 categories, including four "Best of" awards at a ceremony attended by nearly 800 industry professionals held on November 10th 2004.
Ben Cohen (of Ben and Jerry's(R)) commissioned e-tractions(R) to develop the Oreo Campaign to drive registrations for True Majority, Cohen's political action organization. Launched in the Fall of 2003 with a small media buy, the Oreo Campaign has seen over 1.3 million visitors and accounted for more than 125,000 new registrations for True Majority. The campaign was featured on MSNBC and continues to see hundreds of daily visitors, months after launch.
