Barnhill, M.D., a Physician trained in Laboratory Medicine/Clinical Pathology and a Pioneer in the development of Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition Computational Techniques used in Medicine, Genomics, Proteomics, Diagnostics and Drug Discovery. Dr. Barnhill is a co-inventor on the first neural network patents used in medicine, which were recently acquired by Johnson & Johnson. He is also the inventor of the first support vector machine patents used in medicine for genomic discovery.
