Cimaware Software Releases ExcelFIX 4 - a Completely New Version of Its MS Excel Recovery Software
Madrid, Spain - April 23, 2004 /Send2Press Newswire/ -- Cimaware Software
(www.cimaware.com), a leading provider of MS Office file recovery software that
restores damaged and corrupt files, today introduced major enhancements to its Excel
recovery software, releasing ExcelFIX 4. The new version includes changes in both
usability and functionality. This release includes a new user interface, design,
viewer, and a completely new recovery engine.
ExcelFIX 4 works with every version of MS
Excel. Among its new features Cimaware Software has included the recovery of charts,
pictures, and other embedded objects; External link formulas and 3D link formulas are
now restored, and a new advanced editor has been included, as well as an improved Lost
String recovery editor.
One of the most important improvements is the new OLE recovery engine. ExcelFIX 4 can
reconstruct the damaged OLE structure of an Excel file where no software has been able
to before.
ExcelFIX is delivered in 3 commercial editions: Standard, Pro and Enterprise, and one
free evaluation Demo version that can be downloaded from the corporate website.
Cimaware Software sells all its software as downloads, permitting an immediate delivery
of their solutions to the end user. Other solutions by Cimaware Software include
AccessFIX, an MS Access recovery solution, and WordFIX that restores Word files that
cannot be opened. The Suite OfficeFIX includes all three programs.
