What We Do
Neotrope's Send2Press Newswire service sends highly targeted news content (your press release) Direct-to-Editors™ in the traditional fashion, but has also been a pioneer in online search engine placement, social networks, RSS and PDF, journalist and researcher opt-in, clipping services, and news aggregation systems like Google News.

True Media Targeting

Premium Extended ("Blue") Level News Distribution Plans
Our Premium Extended ("Blue") Level plans add to all services included in our "Silver" Plans, with additional distribution via PRNewswire® or Business Wire® (depending on plan, see Comparison Chart, below this page), and online placement on Reuters.com and Yahoo! Finance, as well as a larger number of online news sites in the U.S. and international circuits. For news material to any public company (those with stock ticker symbol), news will push via BW, not PRN.

Who We Are
Since 1983, Neotrope® has delivered proven, effective, and consistent PR (public relations) services, business marketing services and technology solutions. Since 1995, Neotrope has also been a leader in developing innovative technology solutions for the Internet, including e-commerce, banner ad management systems, DRM solutions for digital content, and "patent worthy" SEO solutions like DotComMojo™, SEO+PR™ and ContextEngine®. In 1997, Send2Press (originally Mindset Netwire) was "spun off" of our corporate PR business to utilize emerging Internet-based resources and provide more affordable streamlined solutions for start-up venture clients during the "dotcom boom." Our company was co-founded by best-selling author, professor, and lecturer / consultant Dr. J.L. Simmons, PhD, and graphic designer and multimedia artist / photographer / musician, Christopher Laird Simmons. Dr. Simmons wrote his first press release for a self-published book It's Happening in 1970, which led to mention in TIME magazine and the book being picked up by Knopf. Over the next 30 years, Dr. Simmons appeared on hundreds of television and radio programs, in newspapers and magazines, largely due to his own marketing and PR abilities.
