STC-PMC Annual Conference - March 18-19, 2005 Great Valley, PA

GREAT VALLEY, PA /Send2Press Newswire/ -- The award-winning annual conference for the Society for Technical Communication's Philadelphia Metro Chapter returns to Penn State's Great Valley campus on Saturday, March 19, 2005. This year's conference, Transforming Your Career, features a keynote address delivered by internationally renowned technical communicator, trainer, and specialist in the use of visual arts, Jean-luc Dumont of Belgium. Presentations on career issues, tools, and techniques relevant to today's technical communicators from local chapter members and other specialists make up a packed and exciting conference schedule.

Christopher Kojm of the National Book Award nominated 9/11 Commission Report will address the importance of the accurate technical information in the report and answer questions at an address scheduled for the afternoon of the conference.

For the second year, Governor Rendell has declared the week of the conference, March 13-20, as Technical Communicators' Week in Pennsylvania.
