Former World Heavyweight Champion Oliver McCall to Continue His Comeback on April 16
WINSTON-SALEM, NC /Send2Press Newswire/ -- On April 16, 2005, Oliver "The Atomic Bull" McCall (42-8-0, 31KOs) will face Cornelius Ellis in the Ring of Dreams Fight Night Main Event at the M.C. Benton Jr. Convention Center in Winston-Salem, NC. McCall, best known for winning the WBC World Heavyweight Champion title after knocking out then champion Lennox Lewis in the second round of the 1994 world championship fight, is staging a comeback that he hopes will lead to another world title shot. McCall, who calls this a "tune-up fight," also intends to extend his record of never having been knocked down or knocked out.  Caption: Former World Heavyweight Champion Oliver McCall to Continue His Comeback on April 16 Also on the card, Carlette "The Truth" Ewell (8-3-0, 6KO) of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, will face top-ranked Ramona Crim, of Covington, Kentucky, in a bid for the WBE light heavyweight world title. The WBE middleweight world title will also be on the line, with Bonnie Mann (8-7-0, 3KOs) of Raleigh, North Carolina, squaring off against Carrie Flock (5-2-0, 3KOs), of Charlotte, North Carolina. With such close records, this should be an exciting match up. With a total of eight fights on the card, set for 4 to 8 rounds each, this promises to be a thrilling event. General admission tickets are $20 ($25 at the door), $35 for ringside. A few ringside tables of 10 to a table with service and cash bar are also available.
