DynaPump Announces Energy Savings Results

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - August 2 (SEND2PRESS NEWSIWRE) -- DynaPump, Inc. (www.dynapumpinc.com) has announced the results of energy testing from the manufacture and operation of their entire line of innovative pumping systems. Test results have shown that the manufacturing of a DynaPump unit saves 1 million kw/hr per pump when compared to a conventional beam pump.

The DynaPump unit weighs 10% of the weight of a conventional unit. This can result in a capital price savings of $30,000 to $60,000 to the customer.
Test results from major oil companies who are using the DynaPump on their wells in 8 U.S. states and Venezuela have resulted in average energy consumption savings of 30% over conventional beam pumps and 60% over submersible pumps. This savings is crucial to the world's energy needs based on the large volume of pumps in the world and the fact that the pumps run 24 hours a day.
A large independent oil company in California recently received a 25% rebate on the purchase price from Southern California Edison for the purchase and use of DynaPump units on wells in Southern California. The oil industry is the largest consumer of energy in California with 40,000 producing wells in Southern California running 24 hours a day. If a small percentage of them were converted to DynaPump units the energy savings would be significant and would free up a tremendous amount of energy.

The DynaPump System:
The Power Unit is the control center that provides the ability to convert electrical energy to hydraulic power and to control pump stroke as needed to provide optimum pumping efficiency.
The Pumping System allows for independent control of the speed in both the up and down direction and allows for independent adjustment of the top and bottom stroke. The unit also has the ability to adjust its speed automatically to provide pump off control.
