Joseph Stephen Breese Morse Announces the Alternative to Fad Dieting With the Release of His Book 'The Evolution Diet'
Author promotes eating "what and how we were designed to eat."
SAN DIEGO, Calif. - August 29 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Joseph SB Morse announces release of "The Evolution Diet" (www.evolution-diet.com) published by CoDe Publishing (www.code-interactive.com).
The American public has been inundated with so many fad diets and get-thin-quick magic tricks that some are beginning to think the word 'diet' has lost its meaning. JSB Morse's "The Evolution Diet" is a new book written to set the record straight about what and how we were designed to eat. "This book is a survey of the human diet - what culture is telling us to eat and how we really should be eating," Morse said.
While describing his unique approach to eating, Mr. Morse explores human physiology, cultural influences on one's diet, and what our body does with the food we feed it. Also prominent in "The Evolution Diet" is its humor. Every chapter, or 'part' starts with a couple one-liners or funny anecdotes, sure to bring a smile to someone struggling with weight loss.
"'The Evolution Diet' is extremely informative and insightful, yet it's funny and is a light read for those who want to just read bits and pieces," one Lulu.com reader said.
JSB Morse wrote "The Evolution Diet" because he wanted to stress that our diets are made up of not only what we eat, but also when we eat certain things and in what amount. He also wanted to counter the "eat one thing" or "don't eat this other thing" fad diets.
The Atkins Company bankruptcy has indicated that the low-carb trend is fading and a study reported in the Psychological Bulletin in 2001 showed that restricting one type of food in one's diet, no matter what it is, will result in short-term weight loss because the participant is eating less overall, but can't last. "'The Evolution Diet' does not restrict any major food category, it just rearranges the timing and proportions," Morse said.
Morse sees a need for this commonsense method of eating. "Everyone I speak with wants to understand how their body works and how their diet is affecting their well-being. This book explains the basics of human physiology and what we should be eating to best serve that," Morse said.
The book (ISBN 1-4116-3503-5) is available online at lulu.com, bn.com, and amazon.com for $12.27-$15.57.
