Is It Art, Inc. Launches New Global Internet Community Gallery and a New Art Form called Homepagism

NEW YORK, NY (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Is It Art? Inc. (www.isitart-project.com) today announced the virtual opening of their Global Internet Community Gallery Project featuring 10,000 e-squares, or exhibition squares filled with one digital art image submitted by 7,000 to 8,000 artists from around the world. Each of the 10,000 e-square images which include: paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures, etchings, designs, illustrations, computer generated images, performances, installations, and mixed media, will all work together to create a single piece of art called Homepagism.

Artists may purchase Is It Art e-squares for just $30.00, allowing them to display their art in that exhibition square for 4 years. During this period, artists may sell their images, and also sell their e-squares to another bidder, for whatever price the market, and the growing popularity of the site, commands.

"I compare it to buying a piece of land and building on it for investment purposes," said Frank Pio Ed.D., Founder and President of Is It Art, Inc. "Then later you can sell the building and the land together or separately to the highest bidder. When you buy an e-square you have a say in how the art work develops using your purchased e-squares and your content as your palette."

Pio acknowledges that there are websites who have created homepage art, however no one has attempted to classify this new art movement as Homepagism. "I believe no one has utilized the global artistic community in a collective effort to create something together," said Pio. "Wouldn't it be amazing to get 7,000 to 8,000 artists working together to create one unified image? I realize what I am proposing may seem impossible, but I believe very strongly in this project and its potential, and it ultimate success."
