Keeping up with the thousands of new construction projects has proven a difficult task for real estate agents and even large brokers.  Last year, Realtor® Connie Talcott Smith noticed that she and other agents at her Coldwell Banker Glades Road office in Boca Raton were loosing opportunities to sell new residential projects or condo conversions because there was no single source for information on new developments. Together they founded New Home Construction Search, Inc. in February of this year. By June they began testing the system with Smith's former colleagues at the Glades Road office. As word began to spread, agents signed up in droves. "We now have over 2000 agent accounts," Smith reports, "and new subscribers are signing up all the time. We have catalogued over 800 active projects in SE Florida where agents can earn commissions of 3% and sometimes as much as 5% or 6%. There is no other source for this information."
