Change in Concert Time: THE NUTCRACKER SUITE Organ Concert in SF December 24 will Begin at 3 PM

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Keith Thompson will play Holiday favorites of Mulet, Purvis, Bach, Delius and Tchaikovsky on the Skinner Symphonic Pipe Organ at the California Palace of the Legion of Honor, San Francisco, CA on Christmas eve, December 24, 2005, at 3 PM, instead of the previously scheduled, 4 PM Eugene Dong, an independent music producer, announced today, to accommodate an earlier closing of the museum.

The concert is free after paid admission to the Museum. The California Palace of the Legion of Honor is located at 34th and Clement, Lincoln Park San Francisco, CA 94121 ( http://www.thinker.org/legion ). Maintenance of the organ and the recital series are supported by the Bradley Trust.

The program opens with "Carillon-Sortie," by Henri Mulet, "Greensleeves" arranged by Richard Purvis and "Sheep May Safely Graze" from Cantata #208 of J. S. Bach, arranged by Virgil Fox. These selections, included in Keith Thompson's "A King's Christmas," CD are available for downloading from Apple iTunes, Napster, Virgin Digital and other digital downloading sites. The first program section concludes with "Sleigh Ride" by Frederick Delius.

Keith Thompson concludes the holiday program with his own original transcriptions of the seasonal favorite, "THE NUTCRACKER SUITE" of Peter I. Tchaikovsky, including, Miniature Overture, March, Dance of the Candy Fairy, Russian Dance, "Trepak," Arab Dance, Dance of the Reed-Flutes, and the Waltz of the Flowers.

Keith Thompson's recordings, "A King's Christmas," "HymnProvisations" and "Organ Fireworks" are available through CDBaby.com, BestBuy.com, Tower.com and www.echoesofheaven.com.

His CD's are available internationally for digital download through Apple iTunes web stores which recently added Japan and Australia.
