Best Inn in North America 2005 Award goes to Boutique-style Luxury Inn in Columbia, MD
 The newly expanded Peralynna is a 20,000 sq. ft. European-style Country Manor Inn with 20 luxurious spa suites, that include Italian linens, whirlpools, steam rooms, plasma TV's, fireplaces and candlelight dinners. It is located between Washington D.C., Annapolis, MD and Baltimore, MD. It was designed and built by the owners, Cynthia and David Lynn and their son, Brandon Kemplin, in 1996. The Lynn's and Mr. Kemplin announced today that they have just completed a 2 million dollar expansion and renovation of the Inn. The 10 new spa suites will be open for business on January 15th, 2006. Peralynna also announced today that it has contracted with leading Peabody trained classical guitarist, Said Amintinat, to perform this New Year's Eve at the Inn. He will also be performing at the Inn on a scheduled basis while he is back at the Peabody Institute in Baltimore as a Professor. Peralynna has targeted both the upscale corporate market as well as the Leisure travelers. It has on average a 63% repeat customer rate, 95% average occupancy, and an average daily rate of 425.00 with a top rate of 875.00 per night. Peralynna is a leading business in Howard County, MD, supporting many local non-profits and hosting many functions for its citizens. According to the Howard County Tourism Council, it has become a Howard County landmark as well, due its unique architecture and its prominent location on Route 108. Peralynna is also participating in the Claudia Mayer Research Center's program "Cherry Trees for Hope" program and with its 5 newly planted Cherry Trees, will be part of the Cherry Tree festival in the spring.
