CHICAGO, IL (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- In a violent display of mass consumption, Chicago native Patrick Bertoletti, arguably the fastest rising rookie in the sport of competitive eating, slaughtered the competition by eating nearly 2 pounds of chocolate hearts at the GoldenPalace.com Valentine's Day Chocolate Massacre this morning to win $5000.
 The top competitive eaters in the country were presented with a bottomless supply of candy hearts expertly prepared by the Chicago Chocolate Company, and the challenge of eating as many as possible in seven minutes, one minute for each of the men killed in Capone's 1929 mob hit.
