Libyan American Corporation to Sponsor 'Family Fun & Run' Event in Houston

HOUSTON, TX (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- The Lyamec Corporation (www.lyamec.com) is proud to announce that it will sponsor the 3rd Annual "Family Run & Fun" event which will be held at the University of Houston-Cinco Ranch on Saturday, May 13th, 2006. This exciting and unique event will celebrate the youth of Katy, presenting their art, their music and showcasing their commitment to community service as exhibited by their participation in the important fund raising event.

Funding from the event will be for the benefit of charities that operate in the community. Charitable organizations such as The Brookwood Community, Kraus Children's Center, Breath of Life Children's Clinic, and H.A.L.T.E.R, as well as sponsoring scholarships for high school students in the community. Other beneficiaries included are the Foundation Nameste India that helps Indian families by drilling water wells to help with their most basic needs and for sponsoring in bound and out bound high school exchange students.
