Tue, 18 Apr 2006, 16:00:00 EDT
ATLANTA, GA and WASHINGTON, DC - April 18 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Cognitive Technologies (www.cognitive-technologies.com), specialists in people-focused project management services, announces the opening of a regional office at 1201 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Suite 300, just four blocks from the White House, in Washington's East End business district.
Since setting up, managing and supporting project management offices (PMOs) is a particular strength of Cognitive Technologies, the new office, which will be in full operation May 1, includes training and collaboration facilities. In addition, the facility features covered parking, onsite cafes and easy access from the Metro Center and Federal Triangle Metro stations.
According to Karen McGraw, President, "For twenty years, we've worked with clients through the entire project life cycle, providing particular value at the intersection of people and technology - defining projects for results, organizing and managing them for success, and building reusable tools to improve project productivity. We know the value of being in close proximity to key clients and project teams to ensure they have the support they need to succeed."
VP and General Manager Dave Mathisen adds, "Over the past two years, we've more than doubled the number of full-time staff living in the DC area. We're proud of how effectively these skilled professionals team with other Cognitive staff and consultants, as well as major systems integrator partners." Mathisen notes, "On-site and virtual operations are, and will continue to be, an integral part of our services. This new office will be important in meeting the needs of our growing number of federal clients and allowing us to further expand staff in the DC area."
