Local Reproductive Clinic Celebrates Gift of Life with a 5-Year Baby Reunion

GLENDALE, CA - May 22 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- The Sher Institute for Reproductive Medicine (SIRM(SM)) in Los Angeles celebrated the gift of motherhood in a fitting way - by bringing together families that have been assisted in their efforts to conceive children over the past 5 years by SIRM(SM) physicians Brian Acacio, M.D. and Mory Nouriani, M.D. More than 350 people attended the celebration, which took place in Griffith Park on Saturday, May 13th. Activities included a catered lunch, pony rides, face painting and children's jumping houses.

Guests came from as far away as New Orleans and New York City to attend the party. The happiness and pride was apparent on the faces of every parent as they showed off their babies and toddlers to each other and to the doctors that had helped them conceive.

"I think that Mother's Day weekend was such a fitting time for this," said Rene Danford, a former SIRM(SM) patient and mother of 2 IVF children from New Orleans, Louisiana. "Motherhood is something that all of us have desperately yearned and struggled for and it wouldn't have happened without the help of these wonderful doctors."

This year marks the 5th anniversary for SIRM(SM)-Los Angeles. "This was one of the most special days of my life," said Dr. Brian Acacio, Medical Director of SIRM(SM)-Los Angeles and SIRM(SM)-Orange County. "To see the outcome of what we do every day was extremely touching."
