CyberAngel Prevents Data Theft from Government Laptop

FT. WORTH, TX - June 7 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- CyberAngel(R) Security Solutions, Inc. (CSS, Inc.), a leader in computer Data Protection and Tracking & Recovery, is hard at work in TX. In March, a representative of Workforce Solutions of Tarrant County called and reported one of their laptop computers was missing. A salesman from Argyle TX has his home broken into, and reported his business laptop stolen. Both companies use The CyberAngel(R) Security Software on their laptops to provide Real-Time Data Protection and Hardware Recovery in the event of loss or theft.

Last month, both computers covertly contacted The CyberAngel(R) Security Monitoring Center, reporting their location. CSS, Inc. immediately alerted local law enforcement authorities and provided them with the location information to be able to secure search warrants. The respective police departments responded quickly, and in both cases, had the victim's computer in their hands within a few days.

The CyberAngel(R) Recovery Team remained in constant contact with the clients, keeping them informed of continuing communication from that computer, and their subsequent recovery.
