Non-Profit Trauma Recovery Organization Announces Security Alert Program to Increase Abuse Awareness
Thu, 09 Nov 2006, 15:51:00 EDT
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Nov. 9 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Free Indeed Ministries, Inc., a non-profit trauma organization specializing in adult victims of childhood trauma, is launching a national "Security Alert" division to all state parenting agencies, churches, and concerned civic groups.
This division is formed out of a need to address organized cult groups that target families for systematic abuse and trauma; Abuse cases have appeared in Texas, Virginia, Massachusetts, Florida, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Australia, and England.
"We work with adults and families who have had exposure to organized, underground cult abuse through 'so-called' legitimate and socially-acceptable businesses and organizations," Lawrence W. Stanfield, Ph.D, and president and founder of Free Indeed Ministries, Inc. said. "These people struggle to regain their stolen lives and we work with trauma victims from all over the world who have the classic symptoms of systematic abuse, torture, and mind control."
Free Indeed Ministries, Inc. is a Christian organization that works with trauma survivors on a donation basis; they do not charge a fee.
Stanfield explains that his organization is launching the first phase of the "Security Alert Program" and it will be updated, accordingly, as data arrives regarding suspected area cult activity throughout America.
Recognizing that the organization is not a replacement for local law enforcement, Stanfield does, however, believe the organization's role is similar to that of the national organization - "Crime Stoppers."
"We intend to become another viable extension to create a heightened awareness within communities regarding possible organized groups that mask behind churches, schools, daycare centers, and other reputable community services across America," Stanfield explained.
According to Stanfield, these organized underground cultists work just below the radar of law enforcement and are able to easily prey on innocent victims.
Free Indeed Ministries, Inc. networks with sister organizations around the world to provide a "Security Alert" network that utilizes a combination of national press release services, and email alerts. Free Indeed Ministries, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit tax-exempt organization.
