The People Have Spoken! TMS Architects Wins NH AIA People's Choice Award

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. - Feb. 1 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- TMS Architects are proud to announce that the firm was a recent recipient of a prestigious People's Choice Award presented by the NH Chapter of the American Institute of Architects in association with its annual awards program. The award was presented for a private residence designed by TMS principal William Soupcoff located in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.

Noted for its luxurious design, complex architecture and stunning features, this breathtaking residence is substantial in size and scale (23,500 square feet) as befitting its 62 acre site on the shoreline of Lake Winnipesaukee.

Designed to blend in with its surroundings, the exterior colors were chosen to fit in with the earth tones of the site's natural hues and the end result is that when looking at the site from the lake, one can only catch glimpses of the house nestled among the trees.

A soaring circular 4-story tower is one of the more distinctive design features of the home and another 2-story tower, which houses a custom 10-person hot tub, is constructed on the rear of the residence. Both towers capture lake views as do nearly all of the home's 188 windows. The site also boasts a 3-bay boat house with a mahogany interior.
