Bromba Biometrics' BioIDENTICA(R) SDK Toolkit Now Supports SecuGen(R) Hamster(TM) Line of Fingerprint Readers
Published: Thu, 13 Dec 2007, 14:46:49 GMT
SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Dec. 13 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- SecuGen is pleased to announce that Bromba Biometrics BioIDENTICA SDK is now compatible with SecuGen Hamster III, Hamster Plus and Hamster IV fingerprint readers. The BioIDENTICA SDK allows a simple integration of fingerprint technology into any existing or new software application that can benefit from biometric authentication. Software integrators need not worry about compatibility requirements for mixing fingerprint sensing hardware devices from different vendors.
Dr. Manfred Bromba, CEO of Bromba Biometrics stated, "SecuGen's Hamster fingerprint readers combine mechanical and electrical robustness with the unique ability to deliver superior image quality even for dry skin conditions. Together with our software, the Hamster produces virtually no false rejections. We are focused on providing our customers with 'best in class' products, and we are proud to add the SecuGen fingerprint readers to our product line."
Won Lee, CEO of SecuGen added, "We are very impressed with the ease of use of Bromba's biometric SDK. Integrators now have an easy-to-use toolset with which they can integrate all of SecuGen's fingerprint peripherals into their applications. We believe that the Bromba SDK will enable many more developers to create biometrically enabled software applications."
