The audit covered food safety as well as GMP requirements. Silliker is recognized as one of the world's leading food safety auditing firms, and has been accredited as a certification body for the Safe Quality Food (SQF) program of the Food Marketing Institute (FMI).  Their GMP and FSS audits combine a host of recognized industry practices and principles, as well as recommendations from the National Advisory Committee for Microbiological Criteria in Foods, Food and Drug Administration, and United States Department of Agriculture.
