Interim HealthCare Opens New Franchise Office in Detroit, Michigan

SUNRISE, Fla., March 10 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- While the economy has forced many businesses to cut back, Interim HealthCare Inc., the nation's leading health care franchise company, is expanding. Interim HealthCare announced the opening of a new franchise to serve the home care needs in the Detroit, Michigan area.
Located at 43050 Ford Road, Suite 110 in Canton, just west of N. Lilly Road, the office provides a full array of in-home medical and non-medical services including skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and home health aides to people living in Wayne County.
"As the population continues to age, the need for home care services becomes even greater," said new owner Mojeeb Shahbain. "It's happening in our own community and nationally the trend is continuing."
According to the Department of Health and Human Services, in 2011, more than 8,000 people will turn 65 every day. By the end of that year the senior population of America will reach almost 49 million. By 2025, it will grow to nearly 72 million. And, the U.S. Census Bureau projects that the population age 85 and over could grow from 5.3 million in 2006 to nearly 21 million by 2050.

He is a member of various associations; American Pharmacist Association, Michigan Pharmacist Association, National Community Pharmacists Association and International Pharmaceutical Compounding. Shahbain has owned and operated Sav-Mor Pharmacy located in Michigan for the past 4 years.
