Atlanta-Based Law Firm to Combine Zealous, Efficient, Dedicated Legal Representation with Down-to-Earth Approach in New Douglasville-Area Office

ATLANTA, Ga., Jan. 11, 2013 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- The Boddie Law Firm, LLC, an Atlanta, Ga.-based criminal defense, personal injury and family law practice, has opened its newest office in the Douglasville, Ga. area at 8333 E. Office Park Dr., a short distance from the Douglasville County Courthouse. The new office will serve clients in Douglas County, West Cobb, Carrolton, Chapel Hill, Villa Rica and the other areas surrounding its location.

"We want to bring the same experienced, zealous and committed representation that clients get in the Atlanta Metro area to our clients in the Douglasville area," says Founder and Managing Partner, Attorney William K. Boddie, Jr.

"However, because of the varied backgrounds of our staff, which includes our Spanish-speaking legal assistant, coupled with our down home manner-most of us were born, raised and educated in Georgia-we understand the needs of clients in the Douglasville area," he continues.

The Boddie Law Firm will assist clients in the areas of criminal defense, particularly drug cases and DUI, family law, with a specialty in father's rights and personal injury, including wrongful death. Attorney Boddie, who has nearly a decade of experience as an attorney, has become an exceptional litigator and regularly sees rulings in favor of his clients.

The Firm chose Douglasville for its expansion because, in Attorney Boddie's conversations with local residents and officials, he learned there is a great need for the kind of savvy representation the Firm can bring to the area while remaining sensitive to the unique culture in those communities the Firm will serve from its Douglasville location.

Attorney Boddie, a Georgia native born in Atlanta, derives his understanding of that culture from his experiences as an undergrad student at Valdosta State in South Georgia, from where he was graduated in 1999. He then studied law at Mercer University in Middle (Macon), Ga., where he received his JD in 2003.

Yet, Attorney Boddie's experience as a legal professional extends beyond the practice of law. He is a frequent lecturer and panel member in seminars on criminal defense law and U.S. Constitutional law issues involving the 4th Amendment. He also has been an invited guest on the Derrick Bozeman Radio show on Atlanta's WAOK (1380 AM) discussing important legal issues of the day and those that effect the practice of law and the general public. Attorney Boddie also has spoken to college classes at Brown Mackie College, Clark Atlanta University, Clayton State University, and Georgia Southern University.

He is admitted to practice in the Superior and State Courts of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court. He is also a bar member of the United States District Court Northern District of Georgia and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Committed to continuing legal education to provide the best service to his clients, Attorney Boddie is a member of various professional organizations such as the Gate City Bar Association, Clayton County Bar Association, Cobb County Bar Association, the Northwest Georgia Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (YLD) and the Criminal Section of the State Bar of Georgia. He is also Contributing Member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (GACDL).

Additionally, Attorney Boddie is involved in several civic, business, and political organizations such as The Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and Let Us Make Man (LUMM). He serves as Chairman of The Advisory Board for The Fulton Leadership Academy.

He will be joining the Douglasville Chamber of Commerce and becoming involved in other local organizations and engaging in other community activities in the Douglasville area because he has a commitment to connecting with the communities in which his offices are located.
