CLEVELAND, OH – May 25 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Thanks to incentives from Washington, tens of millions of Americans will seek long term care insurance, but agents aren’t prepared. That’s the gist of a seminar for agents on June 3-5 in Cleveland, sponsored by LTC Financial Partners LLC. The Deficit Reduction Act of 2005, signed by President Bush on February 8, offers carrot-and-stick motivation for 77 million retiring baby boomers, and others, to buy long term care insurance rather than rely on Medicaid. “We’re expecting a flood of inquiries and applications,” says Cameron Truesdell, CEO of LTC Financial Partners. “But agents will miss out unless they adopt new methods.”

The methods to be offered by the seminar focus on a shift from one-on-one sales to “multi-life” sales through companies, associations, and other groups. “Agents need to learn how to engage business owners, human resource managers, association directors, and others, to enroll many people at one time,” says Truesdell. The seminar will also offer guidelines on alliance marketing: working with accountants, financial advisors, bankers and others to reach large numbers through trusted parties.

“Some of the nation’s top producers will be speaking,” says Truesdell. “They’ll be sharing their secrets for managing the new business in the new way.” Participants will also learn how to leverage the same support infrastructure used by the sales leaders:

    * Centralized marketing and public relations support,

    * Automatic production of brochures, direct mail, and web communications,

    * Statistical support for cost control and profit maximization.

Marketing advice will also be offered by leading long term care insurance carriers: John Hancock, Penn Treaty, and Prudential.

Agents may apply to attend by calling Kim Galatolo at 866-471-4072 or by submitting an application at — www.eranova.com/LTCFP/seminar.htm

There is no cost for active agents. The event will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Cleveland.
