MESA, Ariz., April 5, 2016 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Edupoint® Educational Systems, a leading student information and learning management solutions provider for the K-12 market, has been chosen by Loving Municipal Schools to replace its existing JMAC Student Information System (SIS) solution with Synergy®. The district required a technologically advanced solution that would unite all district management functions in one fully-integrated solution, creating system wide data connections that help improve administrative processes and learning outcomes.

Loving Municipal Schools serves 3 campuses in southeast New Mexico. A committee of district stakeholders including administrators, teachers and counselors evaluated multiple solutions to determine which would best meet their needs. After in-depth product demonstrations, Loving Municipal Schools selected Edupoint’s Synergy because of its rich feature set and specialized mobile apps that provide parents and students real-time performance data. The district also selected Synergy Assessment to provide educators the ability to create and administer formative, benchmark, and summative assessments to track student progress on standards and identify those who need additional help. Loving Municipal Schools will utilize Edupoint’s hosting services, which will provide the district a private cloud deployment that still gives them backend access to the Synergy database.

“We are pleased to welcome Loving Municipal Schools to the family of New Mexico Districts using Synergy,” says Bob Weathers, Edupoint’s Founder & CEO. “We are committed to ongoing innovation and continuously enhancing the Synergy Education Platform to provide maximum benefit to our customers. All of our partner districts – large and small – are truly valued, and we look forward to building a longstanding relationship with Loving Municipal Schools.”

Edupoint supports over 125,000 students throughout New Mexico, providing Synergy solutions for districts that include Albuquerque Public Schools, the state’s largest school district, as well as Las Cruces Public Schools and Alamogordo Public Schools. As the second district in the state to switch from JMAC to Synergy, Loving Municipal Schools is currently working with Edupoint’s data conversion and hosting specialists and plans to go live with Synergy for the start of the 2016/2017 academic school year.
