The announcement also showed up on the Boingo-related pages of networking websites such as MySpace.<\/p>\n<p> It was also revealed that bands worldwide had participated including: WC Handy Award-nominee Mark Lemhouse, Scott Fisher Band, Sneakin&#8217; Out, The Cheats, K23 Orchestra, Delta Nove, and over a dozen additional artists.<\/p>\n<p> The live announcement was made Friday, June 30 by Dep&#8217;t of Records co-founder Leland Hirschman at the High Sierra Music Festival in Quincy, California, during his introduction of the band Sneakin&#8217; Out, whose rendition of the song &#8216;Little Girls&#8217; will appear on the album. The announcement was also heard by listeners of &#8220;Grizzly Radio,&#8221; High Sierra&#8217;s on-site and Internet radio station. <\/p>\n<p> Limited edition promotional discs containing two songs from the album were freely distributed at the High Sierra Music Festival and were made available online as well.<\/p>\n<p> One of the tracks on the promo disc was also played on &#8220;Grizzly Radio.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p> The label also intends to distribute the promotional disc at several additional music festivals prior to the album&#8217;s release date of Halloween, October 31, 2006.
