The resin that Magna-Tech utilizes in the sealing process fluoresces which created the opportunity to incorporate fluorescence testing to meet their customer&#8217;s specifications. When the resin is exposed to specific light energy it will give off light or glow at a known output frequency (color). This can then be measured and quantified using a scientific fluorometer (fluorescence meter).<\/p>\n<p> Opti-Sciences&#8217; hand-held OS-30p with its built-in fiber-optic probe proved ideal for the test procedure.
