Phillip Brandon is a proud graduate of Morehouse College<\/a> and Venice High School<\/a> who leapt into an enviable career as a singer and actor in musical theater staples such as the Broadway national tour of \u201cThe Color Purple\u201d and Hong Kong Disney\u2019s \u201cThe Lion King.\u201d He is the son of Brenda Davis, a.k.a. \u201cMs. B,\u201d a one-time the member of Ray Charles\u2019 legendary female backing vocal group The Raelettes. Brenda passed down the love of music to her son and even guests with him on the beautiful jazz piece \u201cStay in the Moment\u201d \u2013 just one of many highlights from \u201cThe Story Begins.\u201d<\/p>\n
