Portner will report to Cloudvirga CEO Michael Schreck<\/a> and will oversee product strategy, development and marketing for the company\u2019s digital mortgage automation platforms.<\/p>\n

\nThe addition to Cloudvirga\u2019s executive leadership team comes on the heels of the company\u2019s recent announcement<\/a> that it added five top-30 lenders to its digital mortgage platform in the last 100 days.<\/p>\n

Before joining Cloudvirga, Portner was senior vice president of products and strategy for First American Financial Corporation<\/a> (NYSE: FAF<\/a>). In that role, Portner oversaw strategy, management and marketing for the firm\u2019s Database Solutions products, including Data Trace<\/a> and DataTree<\/a>. Portner has also held senior management roles at Interthinx, a mortgage fraud solutions provider acquired by First American in 2014, and CoreLogic<\/a> (NYSE: CLGX<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Portner has made a career focus of innovation and disruption in the financial space. For more than two decades he drove product strategy within the professional accounting products division of Intuit<\/a> (NASDAQ: INTU<\/a>). Following Intuit, he served as product line general manager over enterprise resource planning and accounting product lines for Sage<\/a> (LON: SGE<\/a>).<\/p>\n
