TAMPA, Fla., March 27, 2018 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) \u2013- Patrick Carberry, founder Joshuacord, Inc., has teamed up with In Altum Productions, film director Jordan Allott, and Paul Jallo, president, Jallo Oil Distributors, to produce a much-needed documentary that addresses the plight of Christian persecution in the Middle East and Africa. Joshuacord is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization developed to help people persecuted for their Christian faith.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cI started Joshuacord six years ago with a yearly 5K run in Tampa to bring awareness to the ongoing plight of persecuted Christians,\u201d says Carberry. \u201c\u2018Christians in the Mirror,\u2019 a soon-to-be-released documentary, is just one more way to communicate our mission. Edmund Burke, an Irish statesman once said, \u2018Evil prevails when good men do nothing,\u2019 so we\u2019re taking those words to heart and trying to help however we can.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cChristians in the Mirror\u201d is scheduled to be released this summer. Their goal is to reach more than 350,000 churches throughout the United States and it\u2019s the hope of the documentary\u2019s producers and directors that these churches will share it with people who will share it with people and so on and so on.<\/p>\n
A Go Fund Me campaign<\/a> has also been launched to help with the video\u2019s distribution.<\/p>\n Paul first met Patrick about one year ago and the two hit it off instantly. \u201cWe really connected. We both have the goal of making a difference to raise awareness about Christians being persecuted for their faith,\u201d Jallo says.<\/p>\n Having been born and raised in the Middle East, Jallo knows first-hand how people who are Jesus followers are treated.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I met Patrick and learned about his organization and film project, I was quick to get involved. The film shows real stories of Christian persecution and we can make a difference in this struggle that kills Christians for their faith. God has given me more than I deserve and I want to pay it forward,\u201d Jallo says.<\/p>\n It\u2019s the hope of the film\u2019s executive team that \u201cChristians in the Mirror\u201d will activate Christians across America to stand united to help those under persecution for their faith.<\/p>\n \u201cPaul is a good man with a kind heart who is concerned about justice and religious freedom. He understands that the documentary is about God-given human rights and religious freedom,\u201d Carberry says.<\/p>\n \u201cChristians in the Mirror\u201d includes interviews with religious leaders and persecuted Christians in Syria, India, Iraq, South Sudan and Egypt.
