SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. and HOUSTON, Texas, Nov, 6, 2018 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants, a retail property, casualty insurance brokerage and employee benefits consultant, announced today that veteran communications professional Bob Simpson has joined the firm as Director, Communications and Engagement (C&E) to lead EPIC\u2019s C&E practice nationally.<\/p>\n
\nSimpson will be based in EPIC\u2019s Houston, Texas office and report to John Gaffney, Vice President, National Benefits Operations.<\/p>\n
Simpson\u2019s responsibilities will include providing strategic and tactical direction for all employee benefits client communication engagements. Simpson will further expand EPIC\u2019s offerings related to strategic consulting, writing, and creative\/design services, and broaden the scope of existing communications services related to HR, change management, and engagement initiatives.<\/p>\n
Prior to joining EPIC, Simpson spent three years in the Houston office of Willis Towers Watson, where he was Director of Change Management and Communication. He managed a national team of writers and consultants and was responsible for sales and client project management for the West Region.<\/p>\n
