We saw improved scores and more exceptional performances in every division.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Saturday in the Mid School division, national sprint sensation and four-time Colgate Women\u2019s Games\u2019 record holder\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.colgategames.com\/news\/11-year-old-sprinting-sensation-breaks-fourth-record-at-the-finals-of-the-nations-largest-womens-track-and-field-series\" rel=\"nofollow\">Avery Lewis of Westtown School<\/a>, West Chester, PA scored a second consecutive double win. Lewis won the 55 meters in 7.15 and achieved another milestone with her fastest Colgate Women\u2019s Games 200M in 25.37. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.athletic.net\/TrackAndField\/Athlete.aspx?AID=10821304#!\/L0\" rel=\"nofollow\">Taleea Buxton of Young Scholars Charter School<\/a>\u00a0in Philadelphia, last year\u2019s first place champion, set a new personal record in the 55 meter hurdles in a swift 8.31. Returning champions <a href=\"https:\/\/www.athletic.net\/TrackAndField\/Athlete.aspx?AID=9277145#!\/L0\" rel=\"nofollow\">Amirah Nesmith of St. Helena Incarnation in Philadelphia<\/a>, won the 55 meters in 7.63 and 200 meters in 27.97; and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.athletic.net\/TrackAndField\/Athlete.aspx?AID=7256764#!\/L0\">Da\u2019Mira Allen of Chichester Middle School<\/a> in Boothwyn, PA won the 400 meters in 1:02.29 and the 800 meters in 2:25.04. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.athletic.net\/TrackAndField\/Athlete.aspx?AID=10807490#!\/L0\" rel=\"nofollow\">Kiara Davis of Wilbur Elementary<\/a>\u00a0in Bear, DE repeated both her record-tying jump at 4\u20199\u201d and 55 meter hurdles in 9.78 for two more wins.<\/p>\n<p>Participation in the Colgate Women\u2019s Games is completely free. Girls and young women compete within their own grade divisions for ribbons, medals and points.
