SAN FRANCISCO and IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 7, 2019 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants announced today that risk management and insurance professional Randy Pizer has joined the firm\u2019s operations in California as Vice President\/Account Executive.<\/p>\n

\nWhile Pizer will be based in EPIC\u2019s Irvine, Calif. office, he will be a part of EPIC\u2019s Pacific North Region and work closely with EPIC San Francisco Principal Joe Vineis and others on a number of key risk management, business development and client service initiatives, largely related to the Healthcare industry \u2013 an area of specialty for Pizer across his entire career. Pizer will report to Deepa Neupane, EPIC\u2019s VP of Operations, based in Concord, Calif.<\/p>\n

Pizer joins EPIC from broker Beecher Carlson in Orange County, where he spent more than 13 years, most recently as a vice president working with large, complex risk management accounts, primarily in the healthcare industry.<\/p>\n

Previously, Pizer served as an Account Executive in Aon\u2019s healthcare practice where he managed a diverse group of accounts ranging from local medical groups to large multi-state health plans. Using both traditional and alternative risk approaches, Pizer\u2019s specialty is helping healthcare providers manage the risk associated with capitation.<\/p>\n

Pizer received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of California, San Diego. Professionally, he has earned the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.<\/p>\n
