For the vast majority of Americans, including the 77 million Baby Boomers nearing retirement, long term care is and will continue to be a matter of individual, private planning, Truesdell asserts. “You either need to save for it big time, or get long term care insurance,” he says. “For all but the ultra-wealthy, who can afford to self-insure, LTC insurance is the answer.”<\/p>\n

Truesdell’s organization includes 500 long term care experts who advise individuals and businesses on appropriate plans, available tax breaks, and alternative carriers. <\/p>\n
