BENTONVILLE, Ark., March 18, 2021 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — All the Lost Girls Productions launches trailer for \u201cUneven Ground: The Melissa Witt Story.\u201d On December 1, 1994, Melissa Witt was abducted from Bowling World in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The community and authorities frantically searched for the 19-year-old college student for 45 days until the unthinkable happened: On January 13, 1995, Melissa\u2019s lifeless, nude body was discovered in the Ozark National Forest \u2013 roughly 50 miles from the abduction site. Melissa Witt had been strangled to death.<\/p>\n

For over two decades, the kidnapping and murder of Melissa Witt has remained unsolved.<\/p>\n

An Arkansas Documentary team hopes to change that by turning the case upside down with their upcoming film \u2013 \u201cUneven Ground: The Melissa Witt Story.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have worked on this documentary project for just over five years,\u201d explained LaDonna Humphrey, Executive Producer.<\/p>\n

\u201cLaw enforcement has given us unprecedented access to the case files and we have had the distinct pleasure of working closely with both the current and retired detectives on this case. It is our hope that this documentary will shed light on Melissa\u2019s case and that her killer will be found,\u201d said Humphrey.<\/p>\n
