Author\u2019s Synopsis: <\/strong><\/p>\n In October 1977, Marie-Th\u00e9r\u00e8se Walter was found hanged in her home\u2019s garage at age sixty-eight. She was famously known as the \u201csleeping blond muse,\u201d whose relationship with Pablo Picasso (\u2018Pic,\u2019 as she preferred to call him) had always been extremely secretive.<\/p>\n In 1988, Dr. Herbert T. Schwarz published a study where he argued \u2014 many scholars later agreed \u2014 that he had sufficient evidence proving that the blond muse was already at Picasso\u2019s side at age fifteen in early 1925, which is two full years before the date given by Picasso who always claimed having met Marie-Th\u00e9r\u00e8se on the streets of Paris in January 1927 when she was seventeen and a half. But then, this is also the man who once said \u201cyou must not always believe what I say; questions tempt you to tell lies, especially when there is no answer.\u201d<\/p>\n Dr. Schwarz\u2019 intrusion into the \u201cMarie-Th\u00e9r\u00e8se mystery,\u201d if on the right track, was still miles away from the truth; the evidence now shows that Picasso had in fact erased all of Marie-Th\u00e9r\u00e8se\u2019s early-life narrative, starting with her family origins; because for anyone to know the identity of her true parents was also inevitably to know that Picasso had to know this young girl right from the crib.<\/p>\n This book tries to resuscitate some of Marie-Th\u00e9r\u00e8se\u2019s cancelled narrative, as it also tries to unveil the roots and the mechanism of an old disinformation campaign, complete with cover-up; formerly under Picasso\u2019s strict control \u2014 later, under that of his heirs after he passed away in 1973 \u2014, the scholars and the museums too have known about this hoax for well over a decade now.<\/p>\n Regrettably, however, ever since I published my study in 2009 a shabby posture has consistently prevailed within the Picasso Intelligentsia: video et taceo, see and keep silent. But isn\u2019t that Bob Dylan\u2019s \u201cBlowin\u2019 in the Wind\u201d all over again: \u201c\u2026and how many times can a man turn his head\/Pretending he just doesn\u2019t see\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n PICASSO\u2019S LIFE AND WORK AS NO ONE HAS YET SEEN IT; WELCOME TO A FLURRY OF NEW REVELATIONS. <\/strong><\/p>\n With regard to the author, he can perhaps be best discovered by reading his Chapter 4.
