SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Feb. 2, 2023 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Statewide growth and local expertise \u2013 while that may sound like a bit of an oxymoron \u2013 it\u2019s actually what Sequoia Real Estate has in mind for its future. And Jim Enes, a Bay Area native, is the right person to propel its growth. He\u2019s been hired as the company\u2019s Regional Sales Manager and brings more than 32 years of experience to the table.<\/p>\n

Enes\u2019 appointment to the executive team represents the beginning of an era \u2013 one that will be built on a series of stepping stones from growing and expanding new communities throughout the Bay Area to eventually being a nationally-recognized real estate brand.<\/p>\n

Kelvin Kam, Managing Broker of Sequoia Real Estate, says that the company\u2019s short-term goal is to have 1,000 agents in 20 northern California cities and \u2013 long term \u2013 to be located in several select states coast to coast.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to be that local option in every market,\u201d Kam says. \u201cAnd, while that may sound like a lofty goal, with the right team and culture in place, it\u2019s achievable.\u201d<\/p>\n

Enes is excited to enter into this new role. Prior to joining Sequoia Real Estate, Enes was the San Mateo County Team Manager at Redfin. His expertise resulted in an impressive $1.77 billion in closed sales volume.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was a deliberate move for me,\u201d Enes says. \u201cAfter nearly three years at Redfin, I started to re-evaluate my career direction. At one point, I had run my own company for 20 years and I really enjoy helping start-ups and other businesses grow. So, when Kam presented this new opportunity, I knew it would be a great fit.\u201d<\/p>\n

Over the years, Sequoia Real Estate has managed to grow organically and as one of the few independently-owned brokerages left in the Bay Area, it plans to keep that \u201cstay local\u201d momentum going. It\u2019s also committed to its culture which \u2013 according to Kam \u2013 is one that everyone wants, but is difficult to find.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone knows us for our culture,\u201d Kam says. \u201cOur associates take it upon themselves to support each other whether it be business or personal.
