ASHEVILLE, N.C., Aug 25, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Echoes of the Forest, an Asheville-based nonprofit that turns timber salvaged from Hurricane Helene into public art, has been selected as an official charity partner of Birdies for Charity at the 2026 Biltmore Championship, the PGA TOUR event running September 17-20, 2026, in Asheville, North Carolina.

Through the program, supporters donate $20 or more and predict the total number of birdies PGA TOUR players will make over the four-day tournament. The donor whose guess comes closest without going over wins the Ultimate Biltmore Experience, which includes a three-night stay for two, dinner at The Dining Room, and a guided tour of Biltmore House.

Every donation carries added weight this year: the tournament has established a $50,000 bonus pool that will be divided among participating charities based on how much each raises, meaning stronger community turnout directly increases Echoes of the Forest's share.

Proceeds will support the organization's ongoing work training local artisans and installing public art made from timber downed by Hurricane Helene, part of its broader mission to channel storm recovery into lasting community and cultural investment across the region.

"This is such a great service the PGA TOUR is providing to local nonprofits, and we're thrilled to be a part of it," said Liisa Andreassen, founder of Echoes of the Forest. "Every guess someone makes in this tournament helps our artisans keep turning loss into something the whole community can share."

Donations and tournament guesses can be submitted at: https://p2p.onecause.com/biltmorebfc/charity/echoes-of-the-forest and additional background on the partnership is available on the Echoes of the Forest blog at https://echoesoftheforest.org/post/birdies-for-charity-2026.

ST. HELENA, Calif., Aug 25, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Sometimes people simply need a reason to extend an invitation. A new national consumer survey conducted by Come Over October™ in partnership with LocalWineEvents.com found that nearly half (41%) of respondents said having a specific occasion or reason to gather, such as Come Over October, would make them more likely to host a gathering with wine, COME TOGETHER - A Community for Wine announced today.

The finding points to an opportunity for the wine industry. Consumers continue to value spending time together and already associate wine strongly with those occasions, but busy lives, distance and cost can get in the way. A shared occasion is often all it takes.

THE 2026 WINE & GATHERING STUDY INCLUDED 1,553 RESPONDENTS ACROSS TWO SURVEYS. AMONG THE FINDINGS:

Wine is already a regular part of respondents' social lives: 61% said wine is "almost always" part of their social get-togethers and another 21% said it is often, but not always. Interest in Come Over October was also strong: 55% of all survey respondents opted to receive more information about hosting a Come Over October gathering.

When asked what would make them more likely to host a gathering with wine, 44% selected easy recipe and food-pairing ideas, 41% selected a specific occasion or reason to gather, and 32% selected wine recommendations for different budgets or occasions.

77% said busy schedules and finding a time that works for everyone prevent them from seeing friends and family as often as they would like. Distance was cited by 40%, the cost of going out by 33%, and the effort of hosting at home by 24%.

"This survey confirms that an occasion, like Come Over October, makes people more likely to host friends and family. Our campaign gives wineries, retailers, restaurants, distributors and regional organizations a shared occasion to offer the people who drink their wines," said Gino Colangelo, co-founder of COME TOGETHER-A Community for Wine and president of Colangelo & Partners. "When the wine community gets behind one shared invitation, it becomes very powerful, creating more moments for wine."

WHAT WINE BRINGS TO THE PICTURE

The study also explored whether the presence of wine affected how consumers perceived the same social scene. The answer was that it did. "This gets to the heart of why we created Come Over October," said Karen MacNeil, co-founder of COME TOGETHER and author of The Wine Bible. "When people think about sharing wine with friends, they think about fun, conversation, friendship and connection. Those are deeply human experiences. Sometimes just inviting someone to 'Come over' is all the reason you need."

In the two surveys, respondents were shown versions of the same dinner image - one group saw guests drinking wine, the other saw them drinking water. Those shown the wine version were more likely to describe the people as close or old friends (48% vs. 38%), the atmosphere as warm and relaxed (73% vs. 65%), the occasion as special or memorable (25% vs. 16%), and the gathering as generous and well-hosted (21% vs. 13%).

The differences were statistically significant on those four measures, although the effect was modest; yet, these findings suggest an association between the presence of wine and perceptions of social connection.

Respondents' own words reinforce that picture. When participants were asked the first word or phrase that came to mind when thinking about sharing wine with friends, "fun" was the most frequently used word, while variations of "good time" appeared roughly 100 times. Friendship, connection and togetherness emerged as the second-largest broader theme, followed by relaxation and ease. Taken together, relational themes including friendship, connection, warmth, conversation, sharing and affection appeared in roughly one-third of responses.

CONNECTION IN A COST-CONSCIOUS ECONOMY

KPMG's 2026 Consumer Pulse survey found that 67% of U.S. consumers are eating at home more often than dining out, with 76% of those consumers citing budget constraints as a primary reason. The Come Over October survey, conducted among a highly wine-engaged audience, shows a more mixed picture: 26.49% said they are going out to restaurants or bars less often than they did a year ago, while 28.84% said they are getting together with friends and family at home more instead.

At the same time, respondents continue to spend money on social occasions. Nearly three-quarters (73%) said a typical get-together away from home costs them $31 or more per person. More than half (57%) get together at a local restaurant or bar at least monthly, while 23% visit a winery, tasting room or winery event at least monthly, with another 42% doing so several times a year.

The surveys cannot establish that wine consumers are protecting spending on wine experiences relative to other discretionary purchases; however, taken together, the findings suggest that economic pressures may be changing how this wine-engaged audience socializes rather than eliminating its appetite for shared experiences.

"When the Come Over October team approached us about this research, the partnership made immediate sense," said Eric V. Orange, founder and CEO of LocalWineEvents.com. "For more than 25 years, our job has been to help people find a reason to go somewhere and experience wine, whether that's a winery, a tasting room, a restaurant, a wine dinner or a local event. Come Over October is built around that same idea of creating the occasion. This research gives all of us in the wine industry a better understanding of what helps turn 'we should get together' into an actual plan."

For wine, the opportunity is to give consumers more reasons to connect wherever that connection happens: around the table at home, at a neighborhood restaurant or wine bar, in a tasting room or at a winery event.

TURNING CONSUMER INSIGHT INTO AN INDUSTRY OPPORTUNITY

Now entering its third year, Come Over October™ is a national campaign built around a simple invitation: ask a friend or friends to come over, share some wine and make time for one another.

For the wine industry, the new research suggests a practical role to play. Consumers don't necessarily need a more elaborate occasion. They need an easier one: a simple reason to connect, ideas that take some of the work out of hosting, and wine choices that fit different occasions and budgets.

Come Over October gives wineries, retailers, distributors, restaurants, regional associations and other industry organizations a shared national platform around which they can create those occasions through events, tastings, communications, promotions and hospitality.

"This research gives the industry something concrete to act on," said Kimberly Noelle Charles, DipWSET, co-founder of COME TOGETHER and president of Charles Communications Associates. "We can give people more reasons to make the invitation and make it easier for them to do so. Every part of the wine community can bring that idea to life in its own way."

The findings announced today represent highlights from the research. A full report containing the survey results and analysis will be made available soon on the Come Over October website.

Wine industry organizations interested in participating in or supporting the 2026 Come Over October campaign can learn more at ComeOverOctober.com. Free campaign resources are available for industry activation.

"It was important to us to hear directly from consumers about what brings them together, what gets in the way and where wine fits in," said Barbara Fitzgerald, Executive Director of Come Over October. "We're incredibly grateful to LocalWineEvents.com for opening up their 250,000-subscriber network and helping us reach more than 1,500 wine consumers across the country, representing a range of ages, incomes and household types. These insights will help shape how Come Over October, and the broader wine industry, can create more occasions for people to connect."

SURVEY METHODOLOGY

The 2026 Wine & Gathering Study was conducted by Come Over October in partnership with LocalWineEvents.com and included 1,553 respondents across two survey samples: Survey A (n=894) and Survey B (n=659). The survey was conducted among wine consumers; non-drinkers and respondents who indicated they do not drink wine were excluded from the study. Survey questions were designed in consultation with Christian Miller, Director of Research for The Wine Market Council, a non-profit 501(c)(6) research organization. The questionnaires were identical except for an image shown in two questions designed to explore whether the presence of wine affected perceptions of a social gathering. Survey A respondents were shown guests drinking wine, while Survey B respondents were shown the same scene with guests drinking water.

For questions other than the image comparison, responses from the two surveys were combined and percentages recalculated from the combined response counts. Individual question bases vary slightly due to skipped responses. The wine-versus-water analysis included 804 respondents who viewed the wine image and 592 who viewed the water image.

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Aug 25, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Optimism, the platform for well-being, today announced that writer, podcaster, and three-time bestselling author Case Kenny has joined the company as its first Chief Optimist. Kenny will help ensure that Optimism's science-backed guidance reaches its audiences in a voice that actively builds optimism, and will lead new consumer programming, beginning with Mantra, launching September 2, 2026.

Central to the platform's thesis is a growing body of research showing that mindset - how people think and speak to themselves - measurably shapes how well they live.

In the advisory role, Kenny will guide Optimism's publications and programs to advance that thesis: shaping the voice of its editorial, leading the mindset-and-language dimension of its well-being curriculum, and developing new offerings that put the practice of optimism directly into readers' hands.

"This has been my life's work, and now it has a home," said Kenny. "Optimism believes what I believe: that a better life is teachable, and that it starts with the words we use. I can't wait to help millions of people not only learn what well-being asks of them, but actually believe they can have it."

"We've always said well-being begins with optimism, and Case is the person who can make that more than a tagline," said Liz Barhydt, President of Optimism. "He has spent two decades proving that optimism is a skill. As our Chief Optimist, he will make sure everything we share reaches people in a voice that helps them believe change is possible - because that belief is where well-being begins."

Mantra teaches people to use language - the words they write and think - to become more optimistic. It begins September 2 with a free seven-day email challenge and opens into a full course of twenty guided lessons pairing research in psychology and neuroscience with a daily writing practice. Additional programming, including a forthcoming newsletter, The Optimist, will follow.

ABOUT CASE KENNY

Case Kenny is a writer, podcaster, and three-time bestselling author. His podcast, "New Mindset, Who Dis?" has surpassed 850 episodes, and his New Mindset Journal has been used by more than 200,000 people and featured on Good Morning America. With a degree in linguistics and two decades studying how language shapes the way people feel and act, he has taught his method inside Fortune 500 companies and professional sports teams, and reaches a community of nearly two million.

HONG KONG, Aug 24, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- HitPaw Edimakor V5.2.0 has arrived with major upgrades designed to make AI video creation faster, more consistent, and easier to manage. The latest release introduces DeepSeek V4 integration for smarter AI story generation, alongside a new AI Avatar template system that helps creators produce digital human videos more efficiently. The update also brings improvements to the AI Head Swap feature - giving users greater flexibility when creating character-based content.

Together - these enhancements streamline the creative journey from developing a story and building visual assets to creating reusable AI avatars and producing finished videos.

WHAT IS NEW IN EDIMAKOR V5.2.0?

AI STORY GENERATOR WITH DEEPSEEK V4 INTEGRATION

The integration of DeepSeek V4 brings a new level of consistency and efficiency to Edimakor's AI Story Generator. One of the key improvements is support for three-view renderings of characters. This gives creators a clearer visual reference for their characters and helps maintain consistency when generating images for different parts of a story.

The update also introduces full-screen previews for character, scene, and prop assets. Creators can review these visual elements more clearly before moving forward with their projects. Combined with improvements in generation speed and quality, the enhanced AI Story Generator makes it easier to develop richer visual stories with less manual effort.

AI HEAD SWAP FOR MORE NATURAL CHARACTER REPLACEMENT

Edimakor V5.2.0 also upgrades its AI Head Swap capability, offering a more complete replacement than traditional AI Face Swap. As Face Swap primarily changes facial features while Head Swap replaces the entire head and hairstyle.

This difference helps solve common visual problems caused by mismatched hairstyles and face shapes. It can also deliver more natural results when characters appear from side angles, when parts of the head are obstructed, or when the subject makes vigorous movements.

AI AVATARS GET A MORE EFFICIENT CREATIVE WORKFLOW

The AI Avatar feature receives a standalone update focused on making digital human creation faster and more convenient. New one-click video templates provide ready-made settings for different scenarios, allowing creators to generate AI avatar videos without building every project from scratch.

The update also lets users save custom templates. Personalized avatar settings, including appearance, voice, and movements, can be stored and reused across projects. This helps maintain character consistency while reducing repetitive setup work, especially for creators producing videos regularly.

A MORE COMPLETE STORY-TO-VIDEO WORKFLOW

Edimakor V5.2.0 brings smarter storytelling, reliable character creation, and reusable AI Avatar workflows together in one platform. DeepSeek V4 helps develop the narrative and visual assets, while AI Head Swap provides greater flexibility for character creation. Upgrade to Edimakor V5.2.0 and experience a more streamlined approach to AI storytelling, character creation, and video production.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Aug 21, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Dark Matter Technologies (Dark Matter®), an innovative leader in mortgage technology, today announced its latest point-of-sale (POS) release, bringing document validation powered by Aiva Intelligence to the earliest stage of the lending process. By validating borrower documents at upload instead of later in the review process, lenders can identify issues sooner, provide immediate guidance to borrowers and reduce downstream conditions and rework.

The release extends the intelligence available throughout Empower® Loan Origination Solution to the point where borrowers first interact with the loan process. Rather than waiting for documents to be reviewed after submission, borrowers receive immediate feedback while they are actively completing their application, helping keep loans moving without unnecessary back-and-forth.

As borrowers upload documents, a document validation agent powered by Aiva Intelligence classifies and verifies each file against the specific loan condition it is intended to satisfy. Borrowers immediately learn whether a document meets the requested condition, receive a plain-language explanation of the outcome and, when necessary, guidance for resolving issues before continuing the application.

Moving document validation upstream also changes the experience for lenders. Instead of discovering missing or incorrect documentation after a file reaches review, issues can be resolved while borrowers are still engaged. Loan officers receive the same validation results, along with an audit trail showing how each document was evaluated and the reasoning behind every determination, allowing them to spend less time reviewing routine submissions and more time addressing exceptions that require human judgment.

Every lender determines how the workflow operates. Organizations can configure document validation to automatically satisfy conditions, route documents for loan officer review or combine both approaches, allowing each lender to match the process to its operational preferences and compliance requirements.

"Technology creates the most value when it becomes part of the workflow instead of another tool to manage," said Vikas Rao, CEO of Dark Matter Technologies. "Bringing document validation powered by Aiva Intelligence to the point of sale gives borrowers answers the moment they upload a document, helps loan officers focus on the files that need their attention and gives lenders the flexibility to decide how work moves through their organization."

The release also introduces several enhancements designed to simplify the point-of-sale experience for borrowers and loan officers, including:

* A redesigned application workspace that brings the full Uniform Residential Loan Application (URLA/1003) into a single view, reducing navigation between screens.

* The ability to build, compare and reprice multiple loan scenarios within an active loan, making it easier to evaluate borrower options side by side.

* Configurable soft-credit-pull consent with comprehensive consent tracking, giving lenders greater flexibility while maintaining visibility into borrower authorization.

* More precise loan-copy capabilities that allow loan officers to choose exactly which borrowers and documents carry forward into a new file.

The release reflects the continued evolution of Dark Matter's built-in POS experience for Empower users, extending capabilities powered by Aiva Intelligence directly to borrowers and loan officers within a single platform experience.

NEW YORK, N.Y., Aug 18, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Luvme Hair, a beauty brand offering human hair wigs, clip-in extensions, crochet hair, and protective styling solutions, today announced the release of a new expert guide explaining how shoppers can choose clip-in extension weight, weft count, and pack quantity. The guide addresses three specifications that are often treated as interchangeable but serve different purposes.

Set weight describes the total amount of hair in a pack, weft count indicates how that hair is divided for placement, and pack quantity determines the total coverage available for the finished style.

Within Luvme Hair's current collection of clip-in hair extensions, shoppers can compare lightweight 100g invisible sets in six- or seven-piece configurations, 135g seamless sets in seven- or nine-piece configurations, and two-pack options for greater coverage. Luvme Hair notes that the largest number is not automatically the best choice; the right set should match the wearer's natural hair density, target length, and desired fullness.

"Choosing clip-in extensions should begin with the result the customer wants to create," said a spokesperson for Luvme Hair. "A lighter set may be appropriate for subtle volume, while a heavier or two-pack configuration may provide better coverage for thicker hair, a larger length change, or fuller ends."

CHOOSE SET WEIGHT BY HAIR DENSITY AND STYLING GOAL

Luvme Hair advises shoppers to consider both their starting hair and intended transformation. Fine or medium-density hair may blend more naturally with a lightweight configuration, particularly when the goal is modest fullness rather than a dramatic length change. The brand's guide to blending extensions with thin hair also recommends lightweight extensions and thin bases to limit visible bulk and unnecessary weight.

A 135g set provides more hair to distribute around the head and may be considered when the wearer wants added length, stronger volume, or greater coverage. However, more grams can also require more natural hair to conceal the wefts, so shoppers should evaluate coverage as well as fullness.

UNDERSTAND WHAT WEFT COUNT CHANGES

Piece count affects placement flexibility rather than hair quality. Wider wefts generally build length and volume across the back, while smaller pieces can fill the sides and support face-framing balance.

Luvme Hair's guide on how to apply clip-in hair extensions recommends arranging pieces by width, placing larger wefts through the middle and back, and using smaller pieces near the sides.

A nine-piece set may offer more placement options than a seven-piece set, but shoppers should still compare total grams. More pieces do not necessarily mean more hair when the same total weight has simply been divided into smaller sections.

DECIDE BETWEEN ONE PACK AND TWO PACKS

One pack may be sufficient for subtle volume, a close length match, or fine-to-medium natural hair. A two-pack option may be more suitable for thick hair, a substantial increase in length, or a transformation that requires consistent fullness from roots to ends.

Luvme Hair recommends avoiding excessive stacking in one area. Additional wefts should be distributed evenly and kept away from fragile edges or highly visible sections. The brand's current collection identifies two-pack sets as an option for thicker hair and fuller transformations.

COMPARE SEAMLESS AND INVISIBLE WEFT DESIGNS

Seamless clip-in hair extensions use flatter bases designed to reduce visible bulk near the roots. Invisible clip-in hair extensions place additional emphasis on lightweight, low-profile construction and may be useful when fine or medium-density natural hair provides less coverage over the wefts.

Weft construction should still be evaluated alongside total weight and placement. A thin base can help the set sit flatter, but the clips must remain covered by sufficient natural hair.

MATCH TEXTURE BEFORE ADDING MORE HAIR

Texture compatibility can reduce the amount of extension hair needed for a convincing blend. Yaki straight clip-ins may complement pressed, relaxed-inspired, or blowout-textured hair, while curly clip-ins and kinky curly clip-ins are intended for tighter curl patterns and fuller textured results.

Through the newly released guide, Luvme Hair aims to help shoppers evaluate Luvme clip-in hair extensions through specifications that directly affect coverage, comfort, blending, and finished volume. Consumers comparing different Luvme Hair extensions can also review installation method, maintenance level, texture, and styling purpose before deciding between clip-ins, crochet extensions, seamless designs, or bundles.

SYDNEY, Australia, Aug 18, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- STARII TECHNOLOGY PTY LTD today announced the launch of Koozee, an AI visual production platform for apparel e-commerce. It helps apparel businesses create AI-generated model images, product visuals and apparel videos.

BUILT FOR COMPLETE APPAREL VISUAL PRODUCTION

AI is making apparel visual production easier, but gaps remain. General e-commerce AI often lacks apparel-specific optimization, while apparel AI may focus on one task. Businesses need a solution that understands apparel presentation and connects product display with marketing.

AI MODEL VIRTUAL TRY-ON:

Users can upload a garment image to create AI-generated model images and virtual try-on visuals, then change the model, scene, pose or viewing angle. Koozee also supports lingerie, children's apparel, cosplay costumes and pet apparel.

APPAREL PRODUCT IMAGERY:

Koozee generates main product images, flat lays, detail shots, ghost mannequin images and listing-page assets. Apparel-focused workflows turn one product image into multiple listing and marketing assets while presenting garment details.

AI-GENERATED APPAREL VIDEOS:

Koozee creates Dynamic Lookbook and Fitlog videos from apparel images. Replicate Video creates new versions with users' apparel assets based on authorized reference videos.

Koozee also provides background removal, background editing, image enhancement and video enhancement for everyday asset preparation.

FROM ONE GARMENT ASSET TO MULTIPLE VISUALS

Koozee brings these capabilities into one AI workflow, reducing reliance on conventional shoots and fragmented post-production. Based on estimates developed during Koozee's beta phase, the platform could reduce shooting costs by up to 99 percent and produce product images at approximately 12 times the speed of conventional workflows.

"Our goal is to help apparel businesses produce visual content more efficiently," said Adrian Bennett, product lead at Koozee. "Koozee turns garment assets into product and marketing content, so teams can focus on products and growth."

PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

Koozee is available at https://koozee.ai/

New users receive 30 free credits. The Pro plan costs $22.90 per month, or $16.66 per month when billed annually. It includes 600 monthly credits, Replicate Video, Link Shopify Store, watermark-free downloads, permanent generation history and faster generation.

LONG BEACH ISLAND, N.J., Aug 18, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Save Long Beach Island (Save LBI), a grassroots organization dedicated to sound energy policies and preserving our shore and ocean environment, filed a Notice of Intent on August 9 to sue the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) for failure to protect the primary historical migration corridor of the critically endangered North Atlantic right whale (NARW).

The lawsuit will seek to compel the DOC to revisit and act positively on a 16-month-old Petition asking the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to designate the whale's primary historic migration path a "critical habitat" to ensure its survival. DOC is the parent agency of NOAA.

NOAA denied the Petition on July 22, but only after Save LBI filed suit to compel the agency to follow the Endangered Species Act's 90-day review standard and act on the Petition, which it ignored for more than a year.

Beyond other legal flaws, NOAA's 90-day finding applies an erroneously heightened standard," said Thomas Stavola Jr. Esq., counsel for Save LBI. "Instead of fully considering the science cited by Save LBI, the agency simply dismisses it."

SAVE LBI CO-FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT BOB STERN ISSUED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT:

The reasons provided by Commerce in its denial are simply not sound, leaving us deeply disappointed that the federal agency charged with protecting these animals refused to consider a "critical habitat" designation through a rule-making. The DOC's inaction leaves us no choice but to file suit in federal court to overturn its negative finding and require NOAA Fisheries to conduct the lawful, science-based review that the petition warrants.

We are also perplexed because the [critical habitat] designation and the requirements for an analysis of the operational noise generated by offshore wind-energy complexes would likely deter the siting of such projects in the whale's primary migration corridor, which is consistent with the President's stated objections to them. We have written to the President, suggesting that he intervene and reverse the Commerce Department's denial.

THE PETITION

Save LBI filed the 232-page petition - A Petition to Revise the Critical Habitat Designation for the North Atlantic Right Whale (Eubalaena glacialis) Under the Endangered Species Act - on March 31, 2025. The Petition asks the DOC and NOAA Fisheries to consider designating a continuous East Coast migration corridor as "critical habitat" to protect the North Atlantic right whale under the Endangered Species Act (see map below).

"The North Atlantic right whale's survival depends upon the ecological connectivity of its entire annual life cycle," explained Denise Boccia, lead researcher for Save LBI. "The species does not exist as isolated populations occupying separate 'feeding,' 'migration,' and 'calving' areas; rather, these habitats function as an interconnected biological feature necessary to sustain the species."

The primary historic migration corridor designation the Petition calls for would require federal agencies to ensure actions they authorize, fund, or carry out are not likely to destroy or adversely modify the corridor, which is essential to the whale's migration and survival. It would, in effect, create a vital "missing link" between critical habitats that NOAA designated in 1994, and later expanded, to protect the right whale's feeding grounds off the coast of Maine (and New England) and its calving and nursery grounds off the coast of Georgia and South Carolina. No habitat protections currently exist between these areas in the far north and south, putting the whale's survival at great risk.

With a population estimated at around 380, the right whale is perilously close to extinction and faces numerous threats from offshore wind-turbine complexes up and down the East Coast.

The Petition also requests related action by the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) concerning offshore wind development within the proposed corridor. Save LBI is asking the department to require analysis of the underwater noise from the operation of any wind complexes within that corridor to ensure such projects do not block or impair the whale's essential migration.

The Petition is available here: https://www.savelbi.org/marine-life-whales.

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Aug 18, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- While the daily news cycle is dominated by fears of artificial intelligence replacing human jobs, hacking our passwords, gobbling the world's energy to feed polluting data centers, and disrupting global infrastructures, a groundbreaking independent research project is demonstrating that AI can also be a powerful force for good. The AzurevaAI Research Collective has successfully utilized a multi-LLM (Large Language Model) framework to solve a 5,000-year-old biological mystery, delivering a massive victory for human wellness and female anatomical science.

In a radical demonstration of "AI for Humanity," the collective utilized a synchronized digital roundtable of the world's most powerful data models-including ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini-directed by a human researcher. The mission was not to write code or replace a workforce, but to process thousands of years of clinical data, historical texts, and modern physiological studies to definitively map the Clitoral-Urethral-Vaginal (CUV) complex.

For decades, traditional legacy science remained trapped in isolated academic silos, frequently dismissing complex female fluid responses as a mere "bladder accident." By acting as an objective, tireless research assistant free from human institutional bias, the AI collective successfully navigated and resolved the anatomical roadblocks that have stumped human doctors for centuries. The models mapped a precise internal hydraulic engine, definitively answering the internet's most searched biological question - is squirting pee - by proving mathematically that the fluid is a high-speed filtration of blood plasma powered by the cardiovascular system.

"The current narrative surrounding AI is overwhelmingly focused on corporate threat," says Azure Reva, human director of the collective. "We are proving that when human intent directs artificial intelligence, it becomes an unparalleled architect for human knowledge. AI isn't just processing cold data; it is actively helping women bypass decades of institutional blind spots to overwrite flawed historical assumptions with mathematical proof. We are using AI to finally decode the anatomical roadblocks and hydraulic blueprints of the female body."

To ensure this critical data reaches the public without being stalled by academic gatekeepers, the collective has bypassed traditional medical journals entirely. The findings have been translated into plain English and published directly to consumers in the new e-book, "AI Solves the Squirt Riddle."

The publication serves as both a rigorous clinical document and a practical wellness guide, demonstrating how advanced technology can directly upgrade the human experience at its most profoundly intimate level.

DENVER, Colo., Aug 18, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- ACES Quality Management® (ACES), the leading provider of enterprise quality management and control software for the financial services industry, announced the release of its quarterly ACES Mortgage QC Industry Trends Report covering Q1 of 2026. The report analyzes post-closing quality control data derived from the ACES Quality Management & Control® software.

Key findings from the Q1 2026 ACES Mortgage QC Industry Trends Report include:

* The overall critical defect rate rose 23.9%, increasing from 1.38% in Q4 2025 to 1.71% in Q1 2026, and climbed 30.5% from 1.31% in Q1 2025.

* Legal/Regulatory/Compliance defects rose 5.5%, increasing from 24.66% to 26.02%. It was the category's fourth consecutive quarterly increase, its highest share since Q1 2021 and the second straight quarter as the leading defect category.

* Income/Employment defects declined 6.7%, easing from 21.52% to 20.07% and holding the No. 2 spot for a second consecutive quarter. It was the first time in the last five years that the category had ranked second in back-to-back quarters.

* Asset defects fell 31.7%, dropping from 15.25% to 10.41%. It was the largest single-category improvement of the quarter and ended three consecutive quarterly increases.

* Credit defects eased by 3.4 percent from 5.38% to 5.2%, and Liabilities defects were essentially unchanged, moving from 10.76% to 10.78%.

* Refinance review share rose from 27.37% to 32.05%, a fourth consecutive quarterly increase and the highest level since Q1 2022, while refinance defect share climbed from 36.84% to 38.57%.

* VA defect share fell 20.6%, from 12.32% to 9.78%, the strongest product-level result of the quarter. FHA defect share remained essentially flat, from 31.96% to 32.27%, continuing to run well above FHA's 24.46% review share.

"Q1's swing back above 1.7% is a reminder that mortgage quality doesn't move in a straight line, especially in a rate environment as volatile as this one," said Nick Volpe, executive vice president of ACES Quality Management. "The dip below 6% in February pulled a wave of refinance activity through lenders' pipelines almost overnight, and this quarter's data shows the eligibility and compliance friction that came with it. For lender, success in 2026 will likely depend on their ability to flex their QC capacity as quickly as the rate environment is shifting in the current market."

Findings for the Q1 2026 ACES Mortgage QC Industry Trends Report are based on post-closing quality control data derived from the ACES Quality Management and Control® benchmarking system and incorporate data from prior quarters, where applicable. All reviews and defect data evaluated for the report were based on loan audits selected by lenders for full file reviews. The Q1 2026 report and prior editions are available for free download at https://www.acesquality.com/resources/reports.

CALGARY, Alberta, Aug 18, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Canadian operations strategist and transformation leader Aaron Streeton announces the launch of his new book, "The Nine Essential Questions for Organizational Transformation: A Field-Tested Guide to Designing & Deploying a Targeted Operating Model" (ISBN: 978-1834387666; released August 4, 2026 by Tellwell Publishing). Drawing on more than two decades of global consulting experience, Streeton's book provides leaders with a practical framework for understanding their organizations, aligning teams, and turning strategy into measurable results.

"The Nine Essential Questions for Organizational Transformation" explores why many organizational transformations fail and offers leaders a structured approach to designing organizations with greater clarity, accountability, and purpose. Rather than chasing isolated solutions, Streeton encourages leaders to examine the deeper systems, behaviours, and decisions that shape organizational performance.

"I wrote the book to share the story of my consulting career and to help organizations move beyond what they perceive to be their issues and putting in true thought and design to the orgs to make the work life easier and better," said Aaron Streeton.

The book is built around nine essential questions designed to help leaders see their organizations clearly, design intentionally, and execute effectively. As Streeton explains, the goal is to help leaders cut through complexity and create alignment around purpose, value, capability, accountability, and execution.

Through real-world experiences gathered from consulting engagements across industries and continents, Streeton examines the human side of transformation, including resistance to change, organizational habits, leadership behaviors, and the importance of designing systems that support people.

"The Nine Essential Questions for Organizational Transformation" encourages leaders to move away from temporary fixes and toward deliberate transformation built on clarity, discipline, and intention.

FRANKLIN, N.J., Aug 18, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Imagine a shot you can hold in your hand, drop into a martini or pop straight into your mouth, no glass required. That's Bubl™ Cocktail Shots, its flagship product. These vodka-based, liquid-filled spheres are wrapped in an ultra-thin, entirely edible shell. Following a successful launch in New Jersey, it's now expanding into retail and digital markets nationwide, Parker Development Inc., who developed the manufacturing methods for Bubl, announced today.

Each Bubl capsule is designed to burst with gentle pressure, releasing a full shot of premium cocktail inside, casing included. The debut lineup features three classic flavors: Lemon Drop, Cosmopolitan and Sex on the Beach, all vegan-friendly and plant-based. Bubl can be enjoyed solo or dropped into a drink as an interactive cocktail enhancer, giving bars and consumers a novel, shelf-standout way to experience a familiar favorite.

"This has been the most complex and challenging project Parker Development Inc. has ever worked on," said Jack Parker, President of Parker Development Inc. "By obsessing over every detail, from color stability and flavor testing to shelf-life studies, our team successfully scaled the technology. It's incredibly rewarding to see how successful it has become in just its first year on the market."

Bubl is the result of a partnership between Parker, whose Franklin, N.J.-based firm has specialized in food, beverage and supplement development since 1992, and Justin Peckerofsky, a veteran of the hospitality and wine and spirits industry, alongside partners Chris Criswell and Dan Meehan.

Peckerofsky first conceived the idea while on vacation, and the concept was turned down by multiple food scientists who doubted a shot could be encased in a delicate, pressure-sensitive edible sphere at commercial scale, until Parker Development Inc. took on the challenge.

How to Enjoy?

* Chill: Best served cold - the entire Bubl, casing and all, is edible.

* Scoop and Serve: Use a bar spoon to scoop a Bubl capsule and serve with or without the accompanying cocktail from the bottle.

* Experience the Burst: Place the Bubl in your mouth, seal your lips and apply gentle pressure to unleash a burst of flavor.

Bubl Cocktail Shots contain 12% alcohol by volume. Must be 21+ to purchase or consume. Please drink responsibly.

ABOUT BUBL

Founded by a team of hospitality and food science innovators, Bubl is redefining the nightlife and spirits industry through premium, vodka-based cocktails encapsulated in an ultra-thin, flexible, entirely edible layer. Designed for solo enjoyment or as an interactive cocktail enhancer, Bubl brings the artistry of molecular mixology to bars, liquor stores and consumers nationwide.

ATLANTA, Ga., Aug 17, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Down Payment Resource (DPR), the housing industry's leading affordability intelligence platform, today announced that Brad Cardwell, vice president of sales and business development, has been named to The Mortgage Collaborative's (TMC) Partner Advisory Council. The council brings together TMC's preferred partners to promote fair, transparent and efficient practices through open dialogue and coordinated initiatives.

"The mortgage market is challenging right now, and lenders need partners who are committed to helping them find solutions, not just sell products," said Rob Chrane, founder and CEO of DPR. "Brad stepping up to serve on TMC's Partner Advisory Council reflects exactly that commitment. We are proud to deepen our work with TMC and to be a resource for lenders navigating affordability challenges in this environment."

"We are pleased to welcome Brad Cardwell to the Partner Advisory Council and grateful for his willingness to contribute his time and expertise to this important work," said Jodi Hall, president and CEO of TMC. "In a market where affordability is the defining challenge for so many borrowers, having Down Payment Resource as an engaged partner and a voice at the table strengthens our ability to bring meaningful solutions to our lender partners."

DPR joined TMC in 2023 as a preferred partner and provides its affordability intelligence software to TMC members at a discounted rate, giving lenders across the cooperative network access to DPR's database of more than 2,700 down payment programs nationwide.

DPR's platform embeds program eligibility, benefit amounts and compliance documentation directly into lender workflows, including through an integration with Encompass(r) by ICE Mortgage Technology, reducing the operational friction that has historically made down payment assistance origination challenging at scale. DPR's analysis of declined loan volume finds that approximately 35% of loans declined for debt-to-income or cash-to-close constraints could have been funded with the right program in place, representing recoverable volume from borrowers already in a lender's workflow.

ABOUT DOWN PAYMENT RESOURCE:

Down Payment Resource (DPR) is the mortgage industry's affordability intelligence platform, operationalizing down payment programs at scale for lenders, MLSs and API users. Its embedded intelligence helps automate program eligibility, decisioning and delivery, connecting homebuyers with the assistance they need through a national database of over 2,700 programs. DPR's technology is used by seven of the top 25 mortgage lenders, two of the largest real estate listing websites and 600,000 real estate agents.
