ELKHART, Ind., July 27, 2011 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- REMIS AMERICA, the maker of energy efficient doors and covers, has expanded its American production, creating jobs and standing out in a tough economy. Driven by increased demand for its energy saving solutions and several commitments from major North American grocery retailers that extend into 2012, Indiana production of REMIS doors will now include the RemiSafe T line.

REMIS has hired 25 employees year to date and that total includes engineers, production employees, installation technicians and support staff with plans to add 15 more new employees by the end of 2011.

Safe T doors were launched in late 2010 by REMIS GmbH in Cologne, Germany. At EuroShop in February 2011 which took place in Dusseldorf, Germany, the Safe T doors were on display and North American retailers that came to the REMIS booth demanded we bring those doors to the states, explains Matt Pletcher REMIS AMERICA managing director. "It was necessary to move our most popular product lines to our Elkhart facility to give our customers the best possible experience. Not only does it allow us to have more control and better timing to satisfy our grocery retailer requirements, but also it lets us invest in our local workforce. The Elkhart area was hit hard by the recession and we at REMIS AMERICA are proud of doing our part to bring it out of the recession."

Since the company's inception in 2008, REMIS has brought over 45 jobs to the Elkhart area. "We remain dedicated to the Elkhart county workforce," says REMIS CEO Jim Schwartz. "Our company is a local family business and we understand all the resources Indiana has to offer. As our business expands, we will no doubt continue to look toward the local workforce and Indiana suppliers to support our growth."
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- In a U.S. economy that needs a boost, Preferred Stadium and Theater Seating and Preferred Seating Designs are excited to announce that they will be creating new designs for high-quality stadium and theater seats through a partnership with three Midwest manufacturers.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., Feb. 16 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- In a U.S. economy that needs a boost, Preferred Stadium and Theater Seating and Preferred Seating Designs are excited to announce that they will be creating new designs for high-quality stadium and theater seats through a partnership with three Midwest manufacturers.

Preferred Stadium and Theater Seating will focus on the marketing; Preferred Seating Designs on stadium design build; its partners will handle manufacturing.

"Of course we are thrilled to release new and exciting products in the theater seating arena," says Frank Sumner, President for Preferred Stadium and Theater Seating, "but we are equally as excited about the impact that it will have on creating American manufacturing jobs."

The first stadium seats to be released are the Liberty stadium seat and the Tuf seat. The upscale Liberty stadium seat design is manufactured with robotic quality precision and durability; the Tuf Seat is perfect for tighter budgets and may be retrofit onto existing bleachers or risers. Both are compliant with the American Disabilities Act.

Typically, performing art centers and conference centers require more upscale seating. Some more traditional theater seating venues may include: movie theaters, school auditoriums, lecture halls and service areas. Courthouses often are in need of fixed, individual-type seating as well as arena and larger spectator areas.

And, with the continued growth of mega churches, Concert seats are meeting the needs for church seating. These seats provide more leg room and back-to-back spacing. Fold-up, compact theater seats allow for additional space for increased traffic flow through the aisles and for greater seating capacity.

Sumner adds that, "Current outsourcing and importation of auditorium and stadium seats from countries where labor and materials are less expensive, has contributed to a weakened U.S. economy and unemployment; we aim to reverse this trend."

About Preferred Stadium and Theater Seating:
Preferred Seating Designs LLC specializes in the complete design build of athletic facilities and other large public assembly seating venues. Tiered seating occurs on more than one elevation in the same structure and includes grandstands, bleachers, telescoping and folding seating. From small movable aluminum benches to giant grandstands that cannot be moved, bleachers have flexibility unlike any spectator seating.

The company is led by Richard Barrios, president; and Frank Sumner, vice president. Barrios is recognized as a leading bleacher-seating designer and works regularly with most major U.S.-bleacher manufacturers to design, stamp and approve these types of projects.

With more than 20 years of industry experience, these products are marketed throughout the U.S. and Canada.
It enhances entrance and exit ramps and portals. It creates a pleasing contrast with the horizontal lines of our anodized aluminum pickets that can be finished with Southern Bleacher's Dur-kyn paint system for a lively and individualized appearance.

Southern Bleacher's Garrett Pettus, "The renovation project represents an important milestone not only for the Butler Bulldog's athletic aspirations, but also highlights Southern Bleachers' ability to deliver award-winning products and services at an extremely competitive price given current economic market conditions. ELKHART, Ind., Aug. 19 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Leading the way in reducing energy consumption is in the works for the new 49,000-sqaure-foot LEED Platinum Certified Hannaford Supermarket in Augusta, Maine and REMIS AMERICA was sure to be a part of it. REMIS AMERICA installed 32 feet of Remiglas Ecosafe sliding glass covers on freezer bunker display cases which can reduce energy consumption up to a remarkable 55 percent over traditional open frozen food cases. With these potential energy savings, retail grocery stores now recognize the opportunity to significantly lower operating costs, while reducing their carbon footprint.

Eco-friendly energy savings are only part of the story. Enclosed cases maintain a more comfortable store temperature, while providing a barrier to protect food freshness in the event of a power outage. Also, insulated glass covers maintain product integrity by keeping temperatures constant, for greater consumer satisfaction. Goods remain uniformly frozen in the refrigerated display cabinet and optimally visible.

The Maine-based Hannaford Supermarkets is the first supermarket chain in the world to achieve LEED Platinum Certification. The Platinum designation is the highest rating a company can strive to obtain from the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental design (LEED). Hannaford's first-in-the-world environmental designed Augusta location opened on July 25, 2009. They plan on using the store as a research laboratory to test new innovations that decrease energy usage, waste and water consumption, while improving air quality, storm-water management, and the use of sustainable materials.

The REMIS AMERICA, Remiglas Ecosafe covers have been engineered to custom fit individual case specifications. These proven systems are in use in over ten thousand retail stores throughout Europe, via the sister company, REMIS GmbH of Cologne, Germany.

REMIS AMERICA, headquartered in Elkhart, Indiana, is the result of a joint venture between, DEHCO, Inc., Elkhart, Indiana, and REMIS GmbH of Cologne, Germany.

Hannaford currently operates 169 supermarkets in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New York and Vermont under the name Hannaford Food and Drug or Hannaford Supermarket and Pharmacy. Hannaford is owned by Belgium-based Delhaize Group, a global company that is one of the world's largest food retailers.
ELKHART, Ind., July 30 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Paradigm Multimedia has introduced their next-generation healthcare interface with ProTune Technology - the HC20. This product, designed for patient in-room television entertainment systems, is about the size of a deck of cards and will radically change the way healthcare TVs are purchased. Paradigm Multimedia and DEHCO Commercial have recently teamed up and are changing the rules for healthcare TVs.

DEHCO Commercial, a division of DEHCO, Inc. based in Elkhart, Ind., specializes in providing turnkey solutions for the healthcare, hospitality and education markets, offering some of the best known flat screen television brands.

"Our network of sales, service and distribution centers around the United States make this alliance with Paradigm a perfect fit," said Matt Pletcher, EVP of Business Development, DEHCO, Inc. "I am excited about the potential that the Paradigm solution presents to us for diversification into new markets."

By combining Paradigm's own HC20 technology with LCD TVs manufactured by Sharp, the result is a pillow speaker-ready TV system that saves you from spending that extra 40 percent for typical healthcare TVs.

Dick Bray, President, Imagenable, Inc., a nationwide healthcare television integrator, commented, "Television systems typically sold to healthcare institutions are very expensive and filled with features not necessarily required. The cost effective Paradigm solution is exactly what this industry is looking for."

HC20 technology works with all standard nurse call systems. Alongside its easy installation and reliable operation, these TV systems are designed to be controlled by the healthcare standard - the Curbell pillow speaker.

Ed Baron, Business Development Manager, Paradigm Multimedia explains, "Our HC20 technology offers an inexpensive pillow speaker TV control that has the skilled nursing and rehab centers extremely excited."

"Our affordable solution provides their patients with audio privacy and reduces hallway noise created from blaring TVs. Thanks to our alliance with DEHCO Commercial, we are able to provide name brand quality televisions such as Sharp."

DEHCO, Inc has over 50 years of experience in supply chain management and fulfillment, and has established a strong network of sales, service and distribution centers across the United States allowing them the ability to inventory name brand LCDs and deliver just-in-time to their customers.
