New Videography Service Captures a Living Memory of Grandparents and Loved Ones
SAN FRANCISCO, CA - March 12, 2004 - Talking Story Video (www.TalkingStory.com) is officially launching its business
and web site this month. Talking Story is a video service that records personal documentaries for people in their
50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s as well as special events. The launch event will be held Sunday, March 28th from noon -
2pm at the Speisekammer Restaurant, 2424 Lincoln Avenue in Alameda, California. The public and media is invited to
attend to meet the videographer, find out more about Talking Story oral histories and hear from some of the people
who have been recorded or have been recipients of the treasured video tapes and DVDs.
Talking Story owner and videographer, Lis Cox recalls "I began this business 10 years ago after realizing that many
people had passed whose stories I missed so much. Already, Talking Story video has created more than 50 video oral
histories for families throughout the US, England, Holland and Germany."

stories and how glad they took the opportunity when they did," Cox added, "Many subjects worry that 'everyone has
heard the stories' or that they are not important enough, but we have found that no one has heard all the stories and
