LANTANA OIL & GAS PARTNERS BREAK INTO ENERGY DIVESTMENT MARKET
HOUSTON, TX, Jan. 27, 2003 /Send2Press Newswire/ -- David G. Nini, formerly president
of PLS, and Andy Taurins, formerly with Waterous and Company, announced today
the formation of Lantana Oil & Gas Partners (Lantana), a divestment and advisory
firm focused on providing the most comprehensive service available for mid-sized
oil and gas asset packages, those up to $20 million.
Through its founding partners, Lantana is able to combine quality evaluations,
comprehensive marketing packages and a breadth of industry exposure that is
currently unavailable in the mid-sized divestiture market.
While at Waterous, Mr. Taurins lead over $270 million in asset and corporate
sales for a variety of companies and suggests, "I think David and I have the
expertise and contacts to positively effect the way business is done in the
mid-sized divestment market."
Partner David Nini comments, "Andy and I realized there was a significant gap in
service and quality in the sub-$20 million energy divestment market. That's
when we began working on the Lantana business model. We made an early
commitment to bring our clients a highly-polished, credible product, with
personal attention and detailed analysis normally reserved for larger deals.
With this philosophy as the foundation of our business, we hope to change the
expectation of this market niche."
Mr. Nini has an extensive divestiture background, as he led PLS, a company
active in oil and gas property divestments, publications and conferences, for
the last year and prior to that spent several years at Torch Energy Advisors in
its A&D group.
ABOUT LANTANA OIL & GAS PARTNERS Lantana is a full service energy divestiture
