Christopher Simmons, in his role as editor of Music Industry Newswire™, a member of PRSA, and a former professional musician, was interviewed on the topic of music social networking sites, including the launch of FanFound.com (which still shows as being in "beta" as of June 2009, two years later). The article ran in the paper, and also on post-trib.com. Simmons' quotes were in relation to the music business and social network sites in general, and not specifically about the launch of FanFound.com, however the edited version makes it appear that Simmons is commenting on the FF site launch in particular, which was not the case.

Other PR industry professionals were also part of the piece, on varied topics. This was Simmons' third interview by Entrepreneur since 2003. The article appeared in a couple of different formats, with different titles. One version, "In The Spotlight," ran on Entrepreneur.com (March 2007). Another version, "Get Your Biz Noticed Online — For Free," appeared in Entrepreneur's StartUps Feb. 2007 edition.
