Ideal for home and office automation and digital signage

NEWBURY PARK, CA – July 20 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — CyberTouch is pleased to announce the release of the NEO 17 LCD touch monitor. NEO 17 is a wall-mount, wide-screen (16 x 9) open-frame 17″ diagonal touch screen monitor. It utilizes a reliable, force-actuated resistive touch screen which could be touched with a gloved hand, long nails or any stylus. Designed for home-automation and home-theater industry, NEO 17 is also ideal for point-of-information, digital-signage as well as kiosk applications.

Neo 17 utilizes a bright (450 nit) LCD display and requires only 31 watts to operate. Due to this low power requirement, NEO 17 may be installed in walls without need of a fan therefore it is noiseless while in operation. The display input is VGA (1280 x 768 resolution) and the touch screen communications is offered either with a Serial RS232 or USB interface.

The input power is 12VDC. Software drivers are available for: Windows, Linux and Mac. An optional external bezel can be painted to allow color matching to desired wall colors.
