Highlighted are the efforts of great Americans such as Howard Baskerville, who gave his life for the liberty of Iran, and Dr. Samuel Jordan, the father of modern education in Iran.

Prior to immigrating to the United States in 1980, Badiozamani served as Management Analyst at the Oil Service Company of Iran (OSCO). In the U.S. he was Vice-Chair of the City of San Diego’s International Affairs Board, as well as Chairman of the Cultural and Economic Interchange Committee, and was appointed by the Governor to California’s Joint Venture Advisory Board. In 2003, he became the first Iranian-American to run for Governor.
Currently, Dr. Badiozamani is the Founder and Executive Director of the Center for East-West Understanding, dedicated to eliminating extremism and violence through Global Town-Hall Meetings, Friendship Camps, and Media Programs.
